Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rasonix Technologies collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information in connection with the GST Verify website, dashboard, APIs, documentation, billing, support, and related services.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed when you visit our website, create an account, access the dashboard, generate or use API keys, purchase credits, submit GSTINs for verification, use documentation, contact support, or otherwise use GST Verify services provided by Rasonix Technologies.

2. Nature of the Service

GST Verify is an information technology service for GSTIN verification, GST taxpayer lookup, and related business information retrieval. We are not GSTN, CBIC, the Government of India, any State GST authority, or the official GST portal. Verification results may depend on third-party or upstream GST-related data sources.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, login credentials, and communication records. We may also collect API usage information such as API keys, request timestamps, response timestamps, GSTINs submitted for verification, response status, error codes, credit usage, IP address, device/browser details, and technical logs.

4. GSTIN and Business Data

When you submit a GSTIN or related business identifier, we process it only to provide verification, lookup, logging, billing, security, abuse prevention, debugging, compliance, and support-related functions. GSTIN-linked information may include business details and may also reveal individual-linked information in some cases, such as sole proprietorship data.

5. Customer Responsibility for Submitted Data

You represent that you have the lawful right, basis, notice, consent, authorisation, or legitimate business reason required under applicable law to submit GSTINs, business identifiers, personal data, or other information to the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with privacy, data protection, GST, tax, contractual, and business laws.

6. How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide and operate the Service, verify GSTINs, authenticate API access, manage accounts, deduct credits, generate invoices, maintain logs, detect abuse, prevent fraud, provide support, improve performance, troubleshoot errors, secure the platform, comply with legal obligations, and protect the rights and interests of Rasonix Technologies, customers, vendors, and third parties.

7. API Keys, Logs, and Security Records

We may record API key usage, IP addresses, request metadata, response metadata, timestamps, upstream request identifiers, status codes, error codes, credit deductions, and related technical records. These logs help us prove what was returned at a particular time, investigate disputes, detect misuse, enforce rate limits, protect service stability, and comply with legal or contractual obligations.

8. Upstream Providers and Data Sources

GSTIN verification results may be obtained from third-party data providers, GST-related systems, public records, or other upstream sources. We may share necessary request information with such providers only to process the verification request, maintain service reliability, route requests, troubleshoot errors, and fulfil contractual or legal requirements.

9. Data Accuracy and Timestamp Limitation

GST registration status and taxpayer details may change after a verification request. We do not guarantee that upstream data will always be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Verification results should be treated as informational and valid only as of the time they were fetched or generated.

10. Data Retention

We may retain account records, billing records, usage logs, request/response metadata, API logs, verification records, security logs, support records, and legal records for as long as necessary for service delivery, billing, audit, fraud prevention, security, debugging, dispute handling, legal compliance, and business purposes. We do not guarantee permanent storage of verification results, and customers should maintain their own records where required.

11. Data Minimisation

We aim to collect and process only the information reasonably required to provide, secure, bill, support, improve, and protect the Service. Customers should avoid submitting unnecessary personal data or sensitive information through the API, dashboard, support channels, or any unapproved field.

12. Data Sharing

We may share information with hosting providers, payment gateways, communication tools, analytics tools, security tools, support systems, professional advisors, upstream GST data providers, auditors, legal authorities, or government/regulatory bodies where required for operating the Service, enforcing agreements, complying with law, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, or protecting our rights.

13. Security Measures

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect account data, API keys, logs, and service records against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet-based service, API, hosting environment, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Customer Security Obligations

You are responsible for keeping login credentials, API keys, secrets, dashboards, devices, systems, and integrations secure. You must not share API keys publicly, expose them in frontend code, bypass rate limits, allow unauthorised access, or use the Service in a way that creates security, privacy, legal, or operational risk.

15. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website or dashboard may use cookies, local storage, session storage, analytics identifiers, or similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, performance, analytics, and service improvement. You may control cookies through browser settings, but disabling them may affect certain website or dashboard functions.

16. Your Rights and Requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other action regarding certain personal data. We may verify your identity before responding and may retain information where required for billing, legal compliance, security, audit, dispute handling, or legitimate business purposes.

17. Children’s Data

The Service is intended for business and professional use only. It is not intended for children or for personal, household, or non-business use. Customers must not knowingly submit children’s personal data to the Service.

18. International Processing

Our service providers, hosting systems, tools, or support resources may process information in India or other jurisdictions depending on infrastructure, vendor configuration, and operational requirements. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed where our systems or service providers operate, subject to reasonable safeguards where applicable.

19. Legal Compliance and Disclosure

We may disclose or preserve information where we believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, court orders, government requests, regulatory directions, tax requirements, enforce our agreements, investigate abuse, recover dues, prevent fraud, protect security, or defend Rasonix Technologies from claims or liability.

20. No Sale of Customer Lookup Data

We do not sell customer-submitted GSTIN lookup data as a standalone marketing database. We may use aggregated, anonymised, or statistical information for service monitoring, performance improvement, abuse prevention, internal reporting, and business planning, provided it does not identify a specific customer or individual.

21. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal obligations, security practices, vendor arrangements, data processing activities, or business requirements. Continued use of the Service after an updated policy is posted means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.

22. Contact
